Hello! I’m Prashanti, an Independent College Admissions Advisor, entrepreneur, and lifelong educator. I am at your service to help you through your college admissions process. As your college admissions advisor, I will do my best to help you evaluate your highest POTENTIAL and guide you every step of the way to REACH your goals, while making the JOURNEY worthwhile and rewarding.

I am deeply driven by human growth, particularly when it comes to young aspiring humans like you who are roaring to take on the world. The college admissions process can feel quite stressful and overwhelming, but I feel it’s also a wondrous journey of self-discovery! Allow me to enter the admissions maze with you and cut through all the noise so we can create a pathway to a future that’s FIT for you.

I am naturally averse to cookie-cutter college applications and formulas, so I work with you on a personal level and meet you where you are. I work with you to tailor and curate strategies for your unique style and goals. My secret weapon is my eclectic and multidisciplinary background. I have a suite of advanced degrees in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Applied Linguistics (TESOL), with multiple teaching certificates and designing skills, alongside experience in Special Education and ten plus years of tutoring. This non-linear path has uniquely positioned me to acquire toolkits that I use for student success in college admissions to prestigious colleges in the US including but not limited to UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, Indiana University, Purdue University, University of Chicago, University of Texas System, etc. I pull from a unique set of resources built over years of admission experience and diverse professional ventures to help students find their distinctive angle and showcase their authentic and genuine self to competitive and highly selective universities.

I look beyond your transcripts and test scores. I look at the whole person. To create stand-out applications we will go through a process of continuing debates and discussions; tricks and strategies; surveys and analyses, and a battery of self-examination and evaluation exercises. We will learn together and build our strategy to strip away the non-essentials and write compelling and potent application essays that hit the bullseye.

When I’m not helping students carve out their paths, you’ll usually find me at home tending to my garden, listening to podcasts, tackling home DIY projects, grooming and entertaining the cat, and focusing on my own holistic growth.
